Origami Umbrella, Cigarrete Wrapper "Wagasa"

Description

A beautiful example of Japanese American folk art, this origami umbrella has been assembled from meticulously folded cigarette wrappers to form a five-petaled flower. As indicated in the photos, the flower appears intact whether the umbrella is viewed from above or below, while the umbrella itself does not fold.The umbrella is 6 inches in diameter and, from pole tip to pole tip, roughly six inches long.
